Invasive species

Weeds

To suppress their growth, competition is encouraged by overseeding with grasses and cereals that outcompete the weeds. Simply mowing and removing hogweed from protected areas is not enough—overseeding with cruciferous and cereal crops is also necessary to cover the soil and prevent the growth of invasive species like hogweed.
